Hey everyone! Very happy to say that we've met our stretch goal! I'm already talking with Ben about the design of the Cleveland map and I think it's going to be a really fantastic addition to the new book. On Blood Tally, I've been working on edits this week, prepping to send it out to my copy editor, and things are shaping up really well. I can't wait for you guys to read it!
Speaking of books, I know a lot of you have come over here from my usual work and will be happy to know we're just two months out from the release of Blood of Empire, the final Powder Mage book! Pre-orders are a huge boon to any author, so if you're of that temperament you can pop over to my website to find a list of links. You'll also get the chance to pre-order a signed copy through Backerkit, though those won't be delivered until the Blood Tally hardcovers ship.

Hey everyone! The project is looking great, at 135% funded, and I want to thank everyone who jumped in early. You guys are rad. My house guests have left and I'm back in the game, so I want to tell you all about our first stretch goal: $16,000.
Those of you who read my epic fantasies know I'm a sucker for a good map, so we're gunning for a custom-made, Cleveland-area map created by the wonderfully talented Ben McSweeney. The map will show important locations from both Uncanny Collateral and Blood Tally and will be part of the ebook and hardcover. We'll also put a version online for you audiobook readers. Ben and I will talk about fun designs over the weeks to come, and if we reach the goal quick enough I hope to tell you about that before the end of the Kickstarter.
So tell your friends and book groups, or increase your pledge, so we can get there fast!

Hey guys! This is the first time I'm Kickstarting a book (my other Kickstarter was the Powder Mage RPG), and I really wasn't sure what to expect. We've funded in a little under 12.5 hours! You guys are the best. I hope you'll keep telling your friends and talking about the KS on social media. I've got seven house guests in town for the rest of the week, so I'll check in when I can, but I'm already plotting out the first stretch goal. I'll try to get that up as soon as possible!
